Tuesdays w/ Annie

I have come to so look forward to my Tuesdays at Plum Pottery...last night I got to bring home three more "products"...the turquoisee colored ones are round two the other three are the result of my very first round of throwing, trimming and glazing. Obviously the beeautiful vase with the Lillie's is Annie's very own creation (which is what I will aspire to after twenty years of pottery).

These two are my favs so far...

One was throwing blindly and getting lucky (the bowl) and the cup just looks cool cuz of how the glaze came out...again very lucky. What is so cool and semi-daunting about pottery is ALL the endless possibilities in shapes, colors, effects, etc. Annie was even showing me some great ideas for clay beyond throwing on the wheel...simply cutting out shapes and decorating with glaze. The more I go, the more I know I'll be at this a while!
Thank you, thank you Annie for Plum Pottery and Happy Ten Year anniversary!!
