It was such a beautiful day...and Ry and I got to spend it with Indika and her class at the Birch Aquarium. Ry powered through the entire trip...just the happiest boy on the planet.
He is so at home with all of Indi's peers...i think this is because of our weekly hour long visits to do "Reader Training" that really ends up disrupting the normally quiet and orderly Weds morning reading time.
Dmitry down in the pond preparing the kids for their Hogwart's exam in Herbology. And (to the left) Ry & Indi doing their own experiment to see how many times Mathew will let Ry splash water in his face and then laugh hysterically.
I had forgotten about the views from the back of the aquarium being so breath-taking! Ry and Indi were even in awe.
Ry pointed through the fence railing, screaming as loud as he could,
"WATER"!
Caged at last! This is a real-life shark cage...for diving. Kind of gives you the feeling of what it would be like...kinda!
Anyway had to share cuz as Indika said ,"It was the best day ever!"

What a great acquarium it is. It's so great to be working just around the corner now..those La Jolla views are breathtaking.
